New USCF rated blitz tournament every Thursday evening. We will have 2 sections when we have at least 12 registered players. 1 section if less than 12 players registered by 6:55pm. Casual chess also available free of charge for those who prefer to play social unrated games.

Site: Balanced Rook Chess Club, Wackadoo Brewing, 5158 Centennial Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80919. Rounds: 5 or 6 depending upon number of entries. USCF rated blitz every Thursday in October 2026. Each Thursday is its own separate tournament. Boards and pieces provided; please bring a chess clock if you have one, as we have a limited number of in-house clocks available. This event is held in a public atmosphere with casual chess players and other patrons present, so there is no guarantee of a quiet playing environment. Please no outside food or drinks.
